The prohibited foods- continued
Do you know that there are some animals whose meat is normally permissible to eat as they are slaughtered according to the Islamic law, yet in other cases they are impermissible to eat?
This is true! Do not be surprised. There are chickens, cows, ducks and camels that are impermissible to be eaten. But which one of them?
It is called gallalah. And what is gallalah?
It is the undomesticated animal that eats wastes so nobody exactly knows the source of its food. The Messenger (PBUH), thus, forbade the drinking of such animals’ milk according to the prophetic tradition (speech) that Ebn Abbas reported, in which he said, "The Messenger forbade the drinking of the milk of gallalah."
Some asked me why is it forbidden?
I said, they eat wastes that are in the streets and their flesh and milk forms from impurities, so their flesh becomes impure as well.
It is an Islamic rule to sustain human’s health. So, look how beautiful Islam is.
How to deal with such a problem of gallalah then?
Don’t worry! There is always a way out, Allah willing.
Small animals such as ducks and chickens are to be kept at home (or a safe and clean place) for three days. Large animals such as camels should be kept for five days and be fed with good food, so their flesh becomes purified as they have eaten from a good food.
So, we are done now with all prohibited foods.

تابع الأطعمة المحرمة؟
هل تعلم أن هناك حيوانات حلال أكلها ومذبوحة ذبح شرعى ولكن حرام أكلها؟
نعم لا تستغرب، فعلاً هناك فراخ وبقر وبط وجمال حرام أكلها لكن أيهم؟
تسمى ب "الجلالة"
إيه هى الجلالة دى؟
هى التى تأكل القاذورات أى المتروكة فى الطرقات تأكل من قاذورات الأرض فلا يعلم مصدر أكلها وقد نهى رسول الله عنها وعن شرب لبنها بحديثه عن ابن عباس قال (نهى رسول الله عن شرب لبن الجلالة).
قالوا لى ليه هى حرام ؟
قلت إنها تأكل القاذورات الموجودة فى الشوارع فيتولد لحمها ولبنها من نجس فيصبح لحمها نجس.
ومن أساسيات الإسلام المحافظة على جسم الإنسان من الأمراض وغيرها فكم الإسلام جميل.
طيب فى حل لها ؟
كل حاجة لها حل إن شاء الله.
فالحيوانات الصغيرة مثل البط والفراخ تحبس فى البيت ثلاثة أيام.
والحيوانات الكبيرة مثل الإبل تحبس خمسة أيام تأكل من طعام البيت فيطهر لحمها لأنها أكلت من أكل طيب غير نجس.
وهكذا تمت الأطعمة المحرم أكلها.
