A story about purity
A young girl asked her teacher, "Teacher, why should I know the colors of menstruation, when I am already being precautious by waiting for a day after my period, so as to make sure that I am completely pure?"
With a smile on her face, the teacher said, "And how would you be a good Muslim then?!"
The young girl, surprised with the answer, said, "I don’t get it! What do you mean?!"
"If you don’t know the beginning and end of your period," said the teacher, "how then would you be a good Muslim who performs her duties of prayer, fasting, etc?"
"Still cannot get it!" Said the girl.
Then the teacher replied, "Of course, you know that on the day your period ends, with each prayer time, you should take a piece of cotton with some spirit or cologne on it. Then you wipe it over the traces of blood and see if it is clean, so you are pure. If not, so you still have to wait."
"And why is all that?!" the young girl asked again.
"Let me ask you something," said the teacher. "Don’t you do the same in Ramadan and you even feel so hasty about it?"
"Yes," said the young girl, "this is because in Ramadan, each day counts."
The teacher said, "Well then, isn’t the Lord of Ramadan is the same of all the yearlong? Besides, if this is how you act, with such eagerness, when it comes to fasting, should you not feel the same when it comes to prayer? I presume it should even be more."
"What should I do if I knew that I am pure but still cannot bathe?" asked the girl.
"When this is the case, you should pray the previous prayer as well. Let me give you an example, if you knew that you are pure at the time of Asr, so then you should pray Zuhr as well, because certainly you have become pure during the time of Zuhr."
The teacher went on, "I know it may look a bit hard, but when you are used to it, it would be a second nature. May Allah count me and you among the pure and purified, whom He and His Messenger love."

قصه فى الطهارة
سألت فتاة معلمتها وقالت لها: يا معلمة إيه الفائدة من أن أعرف ألوان الحيض وأشكاله. أنا بعمل بالحيطة وبسيب يوم كده بعد الحيض للأمان وعلشان أطمن إنه مافيش حاجة عندى.
ابتسمت المعلمة وقالت لها: أمال وكيف تكونى مسلمة؟
فتحت البنت فمها وقالت: يعنى إيه. مش فاهمة.
قالت المعلمة: إذا كنت لا تعلمى بداية ونهاية حيضتك فكيف تكونى مسلمة تؤدى كل الفروض التى عليها من صلاة وصيام وغيره؟
قالت البنت: برضه مش فاهمة.
قالت المعلمة: إنتى عارفة طبعاً تقريباً اليوم اللى بتخلص فيه الحيضة بتاعتك. لازم بقه كل صلاة تدخلى وتجيبى قطنة عليها سبرتو أو كولونيا وتمسحى من بره عند مكان الحيض وتشوفى إن كانت بيضاء فإنتى طهرتى وإن لم تكن فليس بعد.
قالت البنت: ليه كل ده.
فردت المعلمة: أنا حسألك سؤال: إنتى مش بتعملى كده فى رمضان وتبقى مستعجلة جداً فى الأمر ده.
قالت البنت: آه علشان الصيام واليوم يحسب ولا لأ.
قالت المعلمة: كويس طيب هو رب رمضان مش رب طول السنة وإن كان ده حالك مع الصيام وإنتى حريصة كده عليه أليس بالأولى أن يكون ده حالك مع الصلاة وإن كان لازم يكون أشد.
قالت البنت: طيب لما أعرف إنى طهرت ومش عارفة أغتسل أعمل إيه؟
قالت المعلمة: لما تعرفى ده تكون الصلاه التي قبلها عليكى إزاى يعنى مثلاً إنتى علمتى إنك طهرتى عند دخول وقت العصر فإنك عليكى صلاة الظهر لأنه يقيناً إنك طهرتى وقت الظهر.
وأكملت المعلمة: أنا عارفة إن الأمر يمكن يكون شاق شوية لكنك لما حتتعودى عليه حتعمليه بسلاسة. وجعلنا وإياكى يا ابنتى من الطاهرين المتطهرين الذين يحبهم الله ورسوله.
