Acts prohibited for a woman during her menses or nefas
1- Praying and fasting: a woman should make up for the days of fasting she missed but not for the prayers. This is according to the tradition of Mu’aza, who said, "I asked Lady Aisha why must we make up the fasts missed due to our menstruation and not the prayers? She said, ‘That was what the Messenger of Allah told us to do. We were ordered to make up the fasts, and we were ordered not to make up the prayers.’"
2- Circumambulating the Kaa’ba as it is prayers, during which talking is allowed.
3- Having sexual intercourse. Allah (SWT) says, "And they ask you about menstruation. Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allah has ordained for you. Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves." (Al-Baqarah: 222)
4- Touching the Qura’an: some scholars have deemed it utterly forbidden, while others have allowed it but under some conditions:
• There has to be a barrier.
• Reciting should be for studying only not for worship, such as in the case of a female teacher or student.
5- Staying at the mosque: some scholars have deemed it utterly forbidden, while others have deemed it allowed but under some conditions:
• A woman should be taking all the precautions, so she would not contaminate the mosque.
• It should be for a necessity such as teaching or learning.

ما يحرم على الحائض والنفساء
1-الصوم والصلاة :ويجب قضاء الصوم لا الصلاة لحديث معاذة( قالت: سئلت عائشة ما بال الحائض تقضى الصوم ولا تقضى الصلاة فقالت عائشة (كان يصيبنا ذلك مع رسول الله فكنا نؤمر بقضاء الصوم ولا نؤمر بقضاء الصلاة))
2-الطواف لأنه صلاة مباح فيها الكلام
3-الجماع
قال تعالى :
( وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَاعْتَزِلُواْ النِّسَاء فِي الْمَحِيضِ وَلاَ تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّىَ يَطْهُرْنَ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمُ اللّهُ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ)
4-مس المصحف:من العلماء من حرمه مطلقاً ومنهم من أجازه بشروط :
المس بحائل-لاتكون القراءة للتعبدولكن للدرس فقط معلمهاودارسة
5-المكث فى المسجد ومن العلماء من حرمه مطلقاً ومنهم من أجازه بشروط :أن تكون متحفضة بحيث لا تلوث المسجد -أن يموت لضرورة قصوى للتعليم أوالتعلم
