Lesson (79) /

Lesson (79)
Performing ablution for each prayer
On the authority of Solaiman Ebn Boreda who reported his father as saying, “The Prophet (pbuh) used to perform ablution for each prayer. However, on “Al-fat-h” day, he performed ablution, wiped his “khuffs” (instead of washing his feet), and performed all prayers with the same ablution, so Omar said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! You did what you are not used to.’ The Prophet (pbuh) answered, ‘I did this on purpose, Omar.’ ”
Note: “Al-fat-h” day is a special day in the Islamic history on which Muslems won victory over Quraish tribe and Makka became part of the Islamic country after Quraish breached their truce with the Muslems.
